WEEE (Electrical Wastes)

Electrical waste (WEEE) of any quantity or type is NOT permitted in your general waste containers - however, you can take any of these materials to your local TRC for legal disposal.
 

WEEE (Electrical) Waste Stream icons - batteries (including automotive), electrical cable and off-cuts, computers, monitors, keyboards, mouse, telephones, faxes, toasters, kettles, microwaves, fridges, freezers, low energy light bulbs and flurorescent tubes.

WEEE (Electrical) waste is a very broad waste stream and includes, computers, monitors, keyboards and mice, printers, faxes, telephones, toner and inkjet cartridges, faxes, fluorescent tubes and low energy bulbs, small electrical appliances (kettles, toasters, radios), fridges, freezers, microwave ovens,automotive batteries, and other batteries such as Ni-cad, Nickel and lead acid batteries, electrical cable and cut-offs, office fans, water coolers, UPS devices - to mention a few!

Disposal of all of these items is via a premium collection service only and these costs vary widely, but, on average  in tne UK you could expect to pay::
